Space saver I didn't know I needed

I ran across this under office supplies and thought I'd try it. I have a 27" iMac, and this is a nice, well-made shelf to free up a little space. It sits level on top of the screen, has a cut-out in the middle for your front camera, and is quite sturdy. It has a lock mechanism to keep it in place. You wouldn't want to put anything too heavy on it, but it holds remotes, a phone, keys, etc. with no problem. Currently, I have some lego minifigs on there, freeing up space elsewhere. This is a great idea and I love it.

A monitor shelf that actualy works!

This shelf worked perfectly with my 27-inch ASUS monitor. It feels sturdy with minimal wiggle, and overall, I’m pleased with its functionality. It’s a great addition for anyone looking to maximize their desk space. Highly recommended!Pros:Comes with 2 extra removable adhesive pads. Can support a decent amount of weight—I'm using it to hold my Razer power adapter, which weighs 0.84 kg / 1.8 lbs.Sleek, modern design that fits well with most setups.Cons:I'm concerned that the white plastic might fade or yellow over time. There’s a slight flex or wiggle to it, though it hasn’t impacted performance so far.Not sure about its long-term durability.

Not just for an iMac

I got this for my work computer. We have several meetings each week that have to be on camera. I had my camera just resting on top but it kept falling. I love that this little shelf sits on top and my camera sits there perfectly, safe and sound. It's a little pricey at $20 but a good shelf.

Okay monitor shelf to keep lightweight items

The monitor shelf does what it should, hold things. I like the simple design, but I wish there was padding along the bottom edge that sits atop the monitor glass. If you see in my first photo, the only rubber/padding (grey part) that is on the shelf is the rear support arm to basically grip onto the back of the monitor. The shelf is made of plastic, so I'm not too worried about any potential damage to the edge of my monitor, but it would have been nice to have some protection along that edge.It says it can hold up to 4.4 lbs, but I don't feel comfortable putting anything other than my minee timer and some lightweight figurines. When I put something with a little more weight, like my old google wifi point, it seemed like the shelf was giving just a bit. Also, the wifi was too big for the shelf anyway. At the end of the day, it holds what I want on it, blends in and doesn't cover my camera. Do I think it's worth the price? While it is a reasonable price, I would still not rebuy it unless it was on sale.

A practical concept

I like the concept to use the space above my TV or monitor. I placed this one on top of my monitor. Though the back of my monitor has curvature, the shelf can still stand firmly with partial support. The lock does help substantially. I did not use the non-slip glue, but the shelf still works fine. I think it should be fine as long as I do not put too much weight.

Q&A

A: Not necessarily. It can simply be attached to the display.

A: Not recommend, the stand is specially designed for Monitors.

A: Not to worry. Soft silicone pads will protect the screen from scratches.

A: This stand can only withstand small stuff, like wireless earbuds, small garage kits, little toys, etc.
